Well.. nice work, there was just one thing that really bothered me and that was the text. Firstly, it was very thick and un-stylish. Secondly, it was overlapping in an annoying way. Perhaps you should have made a textbox, and since the background was smaller than the main window, you could have placed it below or above the background.. Also, a textbox which doesn't move is very "classic RPG", isn't it? ;)

ONLY FF8 CHARS!? nope. I know I know... FF8 is my favourite FF game...but if would have only FF8 chars it wont be MIXED in Balamb...
However, there will be more characters of FF8 in the sequel, including: Squall, Rinoa, Selphie and otheres.
